HandmadeElvira has always felt that skincare is more than a beauty routine. It is a way of coming closer to ourselves, listening to our needs and making room for care and balance in everyday life.
Her love of nature, plants and the power of natural ingredients, together with her need to understand the skin and how it works in depth, gradually shaped her career.
That is how Almyra was born.
She studied Biomedical Sciences, specialising in Aesthetics and Cosmetology, and went on to specialise in making cosmetics from natural raw materials and medicinal plants. Her search continued with her master’s degree in Environment and Health at the School of Medicine of the University of Athens, where the relationship between people and their environment took on even greater meaning for her.
From the wish to create a place where scientific knowledge meets nature, and where self-care becomes a more personal experience. A brand that creates natural cosmetics and facial treatments with respect for the skin, for natural ingredients and for the uniqueness of every person.
For Almyra, beauty is not something we need to chase. It is a caring relationship with ourselves and a return to what truly matters: nature, simplicity, quality, presence and inner balance.
Almyra is the personal expression of this philosophy: a way to care for our skin, and to remember our connection with nature and with ourselves.
